Nicole's Mail

Today Nicole got this nice letter from her Dance teacher, Miss Mel. Nicole always loves to get her own mail and I think it's so cool that her teacher did this.
I'm so proud of my good little student!

Jewelry

I haven't been making as much jewelry as I used to but I am still doing it. Here are a two pieces I made myself a couple of weeks ago....

Our Pumpkin Patch Pumkins

Yesterday we decorated our pumpkins we picked from the pumpkin patch. Nicole and I painted ours and Dave carved his. I think they turned out super duper!

I LOVE Living in Utah!!!

We had a beautiful, unplanned Saturday and it's all thanks to the amazing place we live! We started off with a picnic up Provo Canyon, then took a drive up to Sundance to stroll around, then we were off to Santaquin where I had, just earlier in the day, heard about a Giant Pumpkin Contest at The Red Barn where we could also take a hayride to a pumpkin patch! Yes, it Was a busy day but SO worth the great memories!

Cornbelly's

Amber and I took the kids to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point today!

It was crowded and surprisingly HOT but we still managed to have a good time!

Amber and I had fun too.....

Fall is Here!

Yep, it's here. The cool weather moved in quickly on us but we're still trying to enjoy the great outdoors before the REALLY cold weather gets here!

Summer!

OK, so I have not kept on top of my blogging like I intended to. I haven't had a post all Summer and now Fall is upon us. So much has happened over the summer and we've had so much fun, but I think I'm just going to do a quick run down of what we were up to!

Nicole took her first gymnastics class and loved it so much that she's now enrolled in a dance/gymnastics class!

 

We had a Great trip out to Bear Lake with several of my high school friends and their families!
I LOVE every time we get together!


 

We had a great 4th of July with family and friends. We went to the Freedom Festival several times and watched the Provo parade. I always look forward to this time of year!



Dave and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary by going out to dinner at Benihanas,
where we went on our first date.
And Dave got me the best gift ever, a new camera, that I haven't been able to get enough of!!

  

Got to go on a horseback ride....Woo Hoo! I don't get to do that near as often as I'd like to.



We have had lots of outdoor fun this year enjoying nature in the warm weather!!

My Mom came out to visit us and we had a blast! We did so much while she was out; we took a couple trips up the canyon, went to the zoo and the Thanksgiving Point Gardens. We love and miss you Mom/Grandma!

Blogging Again!

Ok, Now that it's been almost a YEAR since my last post I figure maybe I'll start blogging again! We'll see how long it lasts, cause I'm not sure that anyone is still checking it anymore. = )

A lot has happened in the past year:

We sold our Orem home in November (I still miss it on occasion)

We bought our new home in Provo, also in November (I still feel like we're settling in)

Nicole turned 3!!! She's smarter and more beautiful than ever!

I started working again, part time from home, for Solid Equity Real Estate.

And most recently we had family photos done for the very first time, and I love them!

Well, that's it for now. Next time something exciting happens I'll be sure to post about it!
